What a beautiful day it is today
We had some lovely guests in the B&B over the weekend. One lady was on a return visit and has rebooked for a retreat weekend next year.
It is so nice to see people returning time and time again. We must be doing something right.
They headed off early to see the Cooroy Quilt show which has been on over the weekend.
After a little tidying etc that goes hand in hand with having guests we decided to go and celebrate an "O" wedding anniversary that we just had but were too busy with retreats to do anything about.
So off to the floating "Boathouse Restaurant" on the Noosa river
We had a 3 story seafood platter which I did take a photo of but alas it is gone. Gone where? Who knows. So you will have to take my word for it. It was very delicious.
You know, sometimes I just have to pinch myself as we have the most wonderful lifestyle having such a beautiful place to live, eating at great restaurants and doing a job that I am sooo passionate about.
I feel so blessed and am so very thankful.
After we came home I had to do some serious work. – Taking photos of my new quilts.
But firstly I will show you a photo of one of our gardens where we were taking a few shots.
This is my rustic garden. Have a look at the fence behind the plants. My neighbour was really kind and built this fence for me without realising how useful it would be for my photo shoots.
We added to the theme by hanging some old rustic bird houses which we bought from the Eumundi markets, some dead treefern stumps and another friend of ours made me a wheelbarrow so I could plant my orchids in.
Lucky? You bet I am.
So here is a full shot of "Spring Day"
Well that is a day in the life of Sue Daley on a Sunday
Till next time
