Part of my Year in advance
This year is going to take me to many, many more beautiful places around the world. Next week I head off with my trusty office manager Gail to a secret destination for 10 days. It is totally work related and over the course of the year exciting things will unfold before you. When I return it will be head down and bottom up sewing until February where I will be doing some relatively local teaching around South East Queensland..

Henzell St Quilters on 21st Feb
Gold Coast Quilters on 23rd and 24th Feb
This year I will be one of the Guest Tutors at the Quilters' Angel in Highfields at their Girls Day out weekend March 12th and 13th. I am very much looking forward to that. I do hope it stops raining though. The following day I head off for 5 weeks teaching in Europe. I will also be attending the Cologne Show as a guest teaching some workshops. I am really looking forward to this trip to catch up with all the ladies I met last year while I was there. I will keep you posted with the places of where I will be on what dates as soon as it is all confirmed. I hope that I get too meet a lot more of you this year in my travels. It is always lovely to be able to put a face with a name.
Today I am going to leave you with this quilt that I finished last year. I am not sure that I have shown it to you yet.
This quilt is made using 2" pointed dresdens that have been fussy cut. It is such a wonderful effect.
