New Design is coming together
Easter has come and gone for another year. I hope that you all had a
great holiday. We were very busy over the break with lots of wonderful
people staying with us. What an interesting array of guests we had.
Now that we are back to some normality again I have been able to settle into some sewing.
Last week I showed you some new English paper piecing shapes. Well I have managed to make something with them.
This is going to be the centre of my Faith, Hope and Love quilt.
What do you think? I love it.
I will keep you posted as it comes together.
I have another English paper pieced quilt made by my friend to show
you. It is one of my favourites. This one is called “The Pie Quilt”
(Now who would have guessed that?)
It is made with 1 3/4″ pie shapes and 2 3/4″ pie shapes from our paper piecing range.
I have been recently teaching fine hand quilting. Here are just a few
of my students getting into the swing of rocking their needles back and
forth to master the hand quilting technique.
Weeeell some are quilting and some are eating cake 🙂
We have had a beautiful sunny day here today and now it is thunder and rain yet again. I wonder what tomorrow will bring?
Till next time
