I’ve been everywhere
Over the past week I have been everywhere. It all started with a trip to the Brisbane quilt show on Wednesday. I took my team of trusty workers for a day out.
We started off in a little coffee shop to start the day. We headed off back there for lunch to have Crab bagels. Yumm.
We all enjoyed the wonderful things that we saw and certainly lent a helping hand to the economy by spending the odd dollar or two.
After a long drive home I grabbed a bite to eat before setting off to The Patchwork Angel to do a Trunk show.
I always enjoy doing things for Penny and the girls at the Angel as they are such a hoot.
Go over and visit Penny’s blog to see some photos.
The following day I taught my weekly class at Cooroy Drapery
Have a look at what Gail is working on. These are blocks from her “Nearly Insane” quilt. They are 6″ blocks. Aren’t they just fabulous.
I headed off home for some lunch and then I was off to Bell a little country town just outside of Dalby to teach some “Playing with Paper” workshops.
Cathy has a great little shop called Cowbelles Patchwork
It also has a great coffee shop with really good food.
The ladies had a wonderful time and most of them took giant steps outside of their comfort zones using not so easy to use fabric.
Take a look at what they came up with.
Lots of fussy cutting
After a great weekend I arrived home Sunday morning a little exhausted but very inspired.
You cannot beat country hospitality. Thanks Cathy.
I feel a little exhausted just re living it all.
You need to check back tomorrow as I will be having some great giveaways over the next week of all my new patterns
Wherever you are take care
Till next time
