It’s time for a give away

Yes it is time for a give away.

I have 2 of my new "WATERLOO" patterns to give away.

Here is what you need to do.

No.1. If you were going to open an "Arts and Craft" centre with a focus on Patchwork what would you name it?

No.2.What special, interesting or different things would you offer to get people to come back time and time again.

There will be a pattern for the name I like the best and one for the idea that I like the best.

So just put your little thinking caps on and send me your ideas.

You have until midnight Australian EST Sunday 4th October .

Now, the Pies and Tarts quilt has taken the world by storm. I can hardly believe it.

Four of the girls in my sewing sewing group have now finished theirs. The others are hot on their tales.

Here is a photo of Avis's quilt quilted and bound. Isn't it beautiful. Well done Avis it's a job well done.

You may remember Avis, she came to me to learn patchwork and for her first quilt she chose a "Double Wedding Ring" no less. She hand pieced it, hand quilted it in 3 months and it was beautiful.

She is still very new to patchwork but just take a look at her quilt.

It has taken her just over 6 months to hand piece this beautiful heirloom quilt.

BTW that is not all she has done in 6 months.

Well done Avis you have been a pleasure to teach.
