Illuminate Week 25

Hi everyone. Welcome to February! How are your resolutions going? I always enjoy setting new goals in the new year. Whether or not I stick to them, that’s another thing entirely.
This week we are making another block for the outer edge of the quilt, this time featuring the green hexie fabric.
First, make a star using 6 green hexie 1″ six-pointed stars.

Next, make 2 blocks as shown below using 6 green hexie elongated hexagons.

Join 3 white elongated hexagons and 3 charcoal starfall 2″ six pointed stars as shown below.
Note: Use any white fabrics you have remaining – this can be scrappy, each elongated hexagon does not need to be the same.

Join the blocks together to make the section as shown below.
