Dedication

It was 3am last Friday morning and it was dark.

I set off for Brisbane airport to catch a very small plane to Tamworth.

Yes it was that time of the year again. This year approx 160 ladies headed off to "Girls Day in the Country" at Nundle and I was invited to be the guest tutor.

Kerry from Cottage on the Hill hosts this fabulous event each year. Ladies come from near and far.

What a wonderful weekend. Thankyou Kerry for the invitation. I will see you next year when I return to do it all again.

Thankyou also to all the ladies that helped and worked to tirelessly and a special thankyou to my little PA Brigitte.

Brigitte is a young girl (a budding patchworker) and daughter of Sharon who was right there when ever I needed anything. What a wonderful help you were to me. She is just 10 years old) but tells me she is nearly 11) mastered the art of clamshells on the weekend when she wasn't busy fetching, carrying, climbing ladders etc etc.

It all came to an end too soon and so I left early Monday morning to head home on that little plane again.
