Decisions, decisions.

What to do with the clamshells?????

Do I make them into an all over quilt which I just love the idea of

Do I use them for borders which have made allowances for this by doing the quilt in strips as you can see.

But I just can't decide!!!!!

Everyday I change my mind.

What do you think I should do?

I have to tell you these things are so addictive. I am just about swimming in them. I am doing them in between other quilts I am working on and they come together so quickly.

I am making them with the 2" clamshells but they can be made in 3" or 4" depending on what you like best.

I guess I will make a decision eventually.

I like them as a border, like you have them above. How do you make clam shells anyway? They look like lots of fun!

Oh Sue just love the clam shells. Have always wanted to make a clamshell quilt but wasn’t sure where to start. I would love to see a quilt. Checked out the applecore or appleberries quilt, it is simply magic. That is sure going to blow them away in Houston. Good luck with your upcoming events, safe travels.

I vote for the whole quilt in clamshells. I think it would be beautiful.

Clamshells are one of the first designs I learned when I first started quilting back in 1976! We made a simple purse with them.
