Blog Tour with Riley Blake Designs – Post Quilt Market
Don’t you just love a blog tour! And this blog tour is even more exciting because you are going to meet all the great designers on the Riley Blake Designs & Penny Rose Fabric Team.
Welcome to my blog. For those of you that don’t know me my name is Sue Daley from Sue Daley Designs – Patchwork with Busyfingers and I am also very honoured to be the Australian Distributor for Riley Blake Designs and Penny Rose Fabrics through my company Millhouse Collections. You might say my life is busy but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I love creating and designing and I get to travel and teach all over the world. I love my job!
I specialise in English Paper Piecing and Needleturn Appliqué and am responsible for introducing the Glue Pen Method to the world of English Paper Piecing. I love mangoes in the Summer and spending time on the beach.
I have released five designer fabric ranges with Riley Blake Designs and my latest range is Romancing the Past with Penny Rose Fabrics. One of my new fabric ranges to be released in 2015 with Penny Rose Fabrics is Forget Me Not. Click on each of the images below to view my ranges.
My latest fabric range for Riley Blake is Raspberry Parlour which is my favourite range so far because anyone that knows me, knows that I love red and pink.
Here are some of the projects that I have designed with the Raspberry Parlour range.
Click on each image for pattern details.
Raspberry Clams Quilt & Matching Cushion

The most exciting news of all is that I will be releasing a new book at the end of this year, featuring my fabric range, I have titled it Raspberry Parlour. It is full of detailed tips and techniques for English Paper Piecing, Needleturn Appliqué, Fussy Cutting and Traditional Hand Piecing. There are 4 projects to make and you can pre-order your copy now from your favourite Patchwork Shop.
My other latest fabric range is Romancing the Past, my first range with Penny Rose Fabrics. Believe it or not I designed this range while on a road trip! Probably not the best idea I have ever had but you got to do what you got to do.
Here is a look at the range, full of soft romantic colours and reproduction style prints.
And a few ‘Under Construction’ photos of projects I am currently working on with the range.
I love seeing what everyone makes with my ranges too, so please do send me photos so I can share with everyone all your amazing talents.
Would you like to WIN either a bundle of Raspberry Parlour or Romancing the Past fabrics? Yes there will be 2 winners!
Simply, leave a comment below and tell me which range is your favourite and you will go into the draw to win a bundle. Winners to be announced at the end of the Blog Tour on December 2nd.
