So Sad

When we arrived home from Quilt market last Monday night I found that my Dad’s health had deteriorated.
We put him into hospital on Tuesday as we could no longer give him the care he needed.
He finally gave into to the fight against the cancer at midnight on Sunday.
Yesterday I learnt many wonderful things about my Dad that I didn’t know. He was a very private person.
Today we say our final goodbyes at a private family funeral.
This has been the hardest and the saddest thing I have ever had to do.
He has been my rock all my life and I will miss him.
