Teaching the fat 1/4’s and friends

I had a wonderful day yesterday in Maleny teaching the fat 1/4 group and some of their friends from other groups that meet close by. Twenty one in total.

The ladies had a great day learning a few tricks in my “Playing with Paper” class.

We saw all sorts of fabric transformed into the unexpected.

I love the way everyone has a different taste in fabric it makes a class so much more exciting. It also allows people who are a little hesitant to step outside their comfort zone to see that it is ok to have a colour change now and then. 

One of the things I love most about what I do is teaching so thankyou ladies for a wondeful day. I hope that you all went away with a new outlook on fabric and English paper piecing. Oh and the food was good to.

 On another note it looks like we have survived the cyclone that has tracked our coastline for the past few days thank goodness.

There has been too much devatation in this country this year.
