Week 3 – This goes with That – Bonus week

It is week 3 already and this week I have a bonus block for you.

Block 5

1 – 1 1/4" hexagon

6 – 1 1/4" equilateral triangles

6 – 1 1/4" 6 pointed stars

Don't you just love spots. I do and it adds a bit of interest to your quilt.

I have been saving the little bird print for something special and I have finally decided to use it here.

Isn't it cute.

Nothing tricky about this block. Just sew it together.

Block No. 6

6 – 2 1/2" equilateral triangles.

Remember for this one you need to make 2 halves and then sew them together.

Block No. 7 – Bonus block

1 – 2 1/2" hexagon.  

I am calling this a bonus block because there is nothing to it but it is very quick to get a few of these made to go in between all of the pieced ones.

These are just  2 1/2" hexagons. I have chosen some big prints for these to add some interest to my quilt. I just love the toile print. Do you?
