Another great shop owner retreat comes to an end
It never ceases to amaze me how shop owners still get excited playing in new fabric even though they have a whole shop full of fabric at home.
They learnt lots, ate lots and played lots.
Here are just a few of the things that they made.
It also shows that English paper piecing looks great in brights also. It does not have to be restricted to Reproduction fabrics.
I am just loving working in the bright fabrics. Did I just say that? And it truely does make you feel happy.
A new pattern will be available in a few days for this pin cushion that fits neatly into the centre of a donut.
ANNND will look even better in our new pink ones that will be available soon.
An almost finished Clamshell sewing keep made using the Sweet cakes range and tone on tone dots from Riley Blake Designs.
The start of a Handy Hussif using tone on tone dots and Willow from RBD fabric.
Don't you just love spots.
Cubby Cubes from my Brighter side range of patterns.
These will be available as kits in your local quilt shops very soon.
A Table centre which will also be available soon as a pattern. Jodie is making it in the Serenity range of fabric from RBD. A little touch of Japanese.
Laminate zippered bags. What can I say? This laminate from RBD is just so yummy to work with. It is so soft and easy to sew.
Well all good things must come to and end. The weekend finished and the ladies all went home very inspired.
All of the ladies from the 2 retreats will be listed on my side bar soon as "English Paper Piecing Specialists". I have taught them all I know just so they can go on and teach their customers.
Is that what they call "Sharing the Love"
Stay safe
