2 days in Port Macquarie
We set off on Wednesday morning and headed for Port Macquarie Quilt Co. Jim and I stayed with Sue and her husband. Fantastic hosts and wonderful company.
What a great couple of days we had. Sue and Leigh are lovely and alot of fun.
Sue is a great cook too. The food was yummy.
Wednesday night I did a trunk show and backed it up the following day with a “Playing with Paper” workshop.
This is where all the girls get to play with all of the English paper piecing shapes in our Busyfingers range.
They all learn about ugly fabric and what an asset it is to have some in your stash.
Here is a of photo of them hard at work.
They learnt to fussy cut and to turn the not so easy to use fabric into something very different.
Sue and Leigh have a great range of fabric in their shop. Well worth a visit if you are in Port Macquarie any time soon.
Thanks Sue and Leigh we had a great couple of days.
We left the next morning and headed off for Quilt Market at Rosehill. Stay tuned for the next installment.
By the way I have finished all the rows on the Octagon quilt and I am planning the next bit.
You might catch a glimpse in the next post
I still have not mastered the new typepad set up so my appologies if my posts are a bit odd.
On the road again
