The Patchwork Angel here I come

What a fabulous day I have had today.
Up early and off to the gym.  I then headed off for a morning at The Patchwork Angel.
Penny had invited me to do a “Playing with Paper” morning with her customers. I love doing these mornings almost as much as I love teaching.
Penny always manages to get a full house. We had such a great morning.

I hope that everyone went away with some new insights into English Paper Piecing and that it is not just about hexagons but hundreds of other shapes that all interact.
The large quilt hanging n the wall behind me is my Desert Rose quilt.
The quilt I am pointing to is my 1″ hexagon quilt which is still to be quilted. There is approx 4000 – 1″ hexagons in it.
Once it is quilted I will show you a full picture of it. That picture does not do it justice.
The morning ended with a lovely morning tea.
I am now looking forward to the “High Tea in a Quilters Garden” Penny has booked at our B&B.

I  managed to buy some beautiful fabric too because I NEEDED it.
Here is Penny and I just before I headed home.Pict2044
“We are a bit like two peas in a pod” or “Two frogs on a log.”
Isn’t that what you say when two people have similar personalities

Don’t forget that the lucky draw for the Butterfly Kisses Folder cover ends midnight Saturday. So send in your comments.

Till next time
